Cry Yorkie with Broken front leg :(

Hi, my little baby Pebbles managed to fracture and displace her radius & ulna bones in her front left leg. My vet tried to externally fixate so he could bandage, but was unable, due to too much scar tissue building up. So now, her only option is surgery to put pins into the bones and re position them.
(Orthopedic surgery isn't cheap....)

Has anyone gone through this with their fur babies?
I always knew Yorkies were prone to leg & knee injuries, (she had a luxating patella in her rear leg as a young pup, but has since grown out of it) but this one happened from just simply jumping off the sofa and landing wrong (shes a very spunky little thing)
The Vet says they're confident that she will make a full recovery within 2 months if the surgery goes well. Looking for advice on what to expect
