Get some duct tape and tape it to the side of the box. A heat lamp would be better if you are concerned about the cord. You can pick one of those silver cone type ones with a clamp up at Wal mart for under $6 bucks. The bulb on the other hand is a bit more expensive and if you can not find one at Wal mart you can get one at any pet store.
