For a pup, it sounds about right. I wouldn't worry about a young puppy getting overweight. At 12 weeks, if she's still hungry, give her some more.

My 5 yr old, 17lb, active, neutered male eats 1/2 cup of kibble PER DAY. He does get wet food as well, plus treats (we do lots of training) and the occasional chew, so I try to count those calories in. In the summer, when he swims, we do 2/3 cup per day. He would get fat eating anymore.
