 Lump on eyelid
I discovered a lump on my dogs eyelid. I took him to the vet and I couldn't believe how swollen it was under the eyelid. The vet said there's a small chance it being cancer due to his age. In the meantime he's having ointment to eliminate infection but it hasn't done any good. It don't seem to bother him. He's not squinting and he has no discharge from the eye. He's going under tomorrow for a biopsy. Is this necessary? My concern being is he has a few health issues. An enlarged liver and possibly cushing disease. I know it's rear for something to go wrong but I'm still nervous.
Has anyone had any experience with lumps on the dog's eyelid and if it is cancer what's the chances of him getting through it? He's 10yrs old |
