Where I am, dogs are generally unreliable and out of control. I trust their humans even less. The lack of opportunity to interact safely means my guys are not adequately socialized. We have to make due with living in protective mode.

Thanks, but I think the biggest difference is we have an organized group of little dog owners and we outnumber others at the park. We watch for unruly dogs and aren't shy about talking to owners. We have each other's backs. Interestingly, we hear of more attacks at the park when we're not there.
