The local dog park in my town as a large side (30lbs+) and a small side, (under 25lbs). Unfortunately, people do not pay attention to the signs and they will allow their large dogs in the small dog area, and vice versa. I've only taken Zoey there a few times. Luckily while we were there, it was only me and a few other small dogs. I've noticed that owners of the smaller dogs tend to pay more attention to them. Whenever I would peer over into the large side, the owners were all grouped around chatting, basically oblivious to their dogs. My coworker who just recently moved here, was at the park with her 2 Boston Terriers, and a large dog got too rough with her female Boston Terrier. She told me she was yelling and trying to pull the dog off, and the owner of the dog did nothing but stand there. My coworker finally asked this owner to get her dog off, and the lady replied "I can't, she's deaf" I don't understand some people!
