I am also leary around pit bulls, well pretty much any breed, no matter the size. I've watched a few documentaries on Pit Bulls, and from my understanding they cannot be fully trusted. Although, I tend to watch body language, and if I don't feel it's safe then I will not allow my dogs near the other dog. My neighbor had a Pit Bull, and she was the sweetest dog you'd ever meet. She loved everyone, and everything. She was extremely smart too. My friend had 2 pit bulls, and they were extremely kind, and gentle dogs.
