Same here with Logan. He is almost 11 weeks old but we got him at 8 weeks. He's had good days going outside and good days only going on the pads but still has accidents. We live in Philadelphia so it's been really cold here. Too cold for him really. I just don't want to confuse him by pad training. I bought nature's miracle advanced spray for the carpet. It smells so good. And also a "pet odor exterminater" brand candle that is amazing too. My main problem with him is that he goes in his crate if he wakes up before me in the morning. I wake up at 630am and he still gets up before me! I'm starting to believe the breeder we got him from kept him pent up a lot because he has no problem just going in his crate. Dirty dog syndrome as my friend told me. Pet store pups usually do the same. Although I love him and I'm glad that he has a good home with us, I am upset that he may have come from a breeder that caged him so often. But I could be wrong.
I just hope in the next few weeks I can get him closer to fully house broken |
