Dawn, I'm sorry you are having problems. I KNOW how frustrating it can be. Before I got my dream machine which is all metal, all mechanical and is over 60 years old, my trouble shooting went something like this....

1) Rethread machine and bobbin
2) If that didn't work, I changed the needle
3) If that didn't work, I would change both the thread - both top and bobbin
4) If that didn't work, I'd turn off the machine and leave it for a couple of hours (giving the machine time to "rest" and me to quit having evil thoughts.
