My female bulldog just went through her third heat cycle(with an intact male in the home) so I know how stressful it can be for you. My best advice would be to keep Cupcake completely separated from other dogs(male AND female) if at all possible but especially males. Keep her in a separate room I wouldn't really trust crates being a deterrent by themselves, get diapers/panty liners for her so she won't get blood on your furniture/carpet. Heat cycles last around 3 weeks but I think they can only get pregnant 7 days out of the 21. In my case I just kept my dogs (who are both intact) seperated for 3.5 weeks just to be safe. They were not allowed near each other at any time
