While not in favor of having government get involved and legislating against docking, I'm happy to see the general public stepping up and asking the tails be left on.
Few people have ever declined to purchase one of my puppies over tail length. Some have converted to wanting the full tail after actually seeing it.
As newish owners (since November) of one of magicgenies Cloverhill Yorkies (our first Yorkie) - have to say that her beautiful full tail is one of Shelby's most gorgeous features (but then she has so many :-) . Although I think we had assumed the tail would be docked if we bought from a breeder we were happy we had the option to get an undocked puppy - it just feels right.... So hopefully attitudes are changing somewhat among new buyers in the US
