Great advice. Consistency is the key for us. I never let it go for long. They're allowed a few alert barks, but when I say No Bark they know it's time to stop. I taught it like every other trick. They were rewarded for compliance.
Little dogs bark. It's one of the few defense mechanisms they have. It's not wrong. But they do have to learn when it's appropriate. Always address it and never let it slide.
