 Worms?!
I posted recently that my 10 week old puppy ingested cat feces in the back yard. He didn't get sick from it or anything and seemed normal yesterday but tonight he pooped on his puppy pads and there were white worms in his stool. They were about a centimeter long and flat and white and still moving! I'm so freaked out right now.
My husband and I are taking him to the vet first thing in the morning, but do any of you have any idea what this could be? Also,
is there anything I should do about cleaning areas where he was laying in the house? He was sleeping on my blanket with me just before he went to the bathroom. I'm really worried about something parasitic maybe lingering and re infecting him after he is treated.
Never dealt with this before or had a puppy before. Super scared!! |
