Grooming time depends on her hair growth. Momo's hair grows so fast, he pretty much needs all the basic things done, like ear tipping, sanitary trims, paw pads once a week, 2 weeks max. But I keep him in a puppy cut & let it grow out in the winter. He's pretty much a puff ball right now.
My other guys are all silky haired, so their hair grows slowly & I just trim when I need to, maybe once every 2 months in the summer. Their sanitary clips, I do once a week (2 weeks max) b4 their bath time.
If you're not sure about body length, you can leave it or have the groomer scissor straight just the ends to tidy it up.
