papers Are you talking AKC...in order to register your puppy, all the breeders involved..owner of male and female etc must have papers or infor on their dogs..then if it is only a matter of having never registered dogs who are eligible, then if can be done, but if no one has any papers, can't find them, lost contact with the breeders..then the chances are very slim..AKC will NOT accept anything you say without number and names of parents.
$1000 is alot of money, but it would depend on the puppy. At 4 months plus, she should have had all her vet needs done, shots, worming, rabies..etc. If you have to put out another $500 for vet needs, then it begins to add up. I do not know what makes a dog worth the money people pay. There is no guide line...if the puppy is truly what you want in a companion, papers aren't important. A healthy, vet checked puppy is the point here. She is not exceptionally tiny for her age..but will not be much more the 4 to 5 pounds as a rule..but there are exceptions.
Best wishes to you. |
