Every veterinarian is different and prescribes different treatments and options. It was determined that he needed a change in flea treatment and I've found no live fleas on him and the itching has stopped. That doesn't mean that my veterinarian is incompetent.

I would not take the chance and I would use a safe medicine. Its just not worth the risk to me.
