Hi everyone! So happy I found this site! I am the proud Mom of four yorkies.
Here is a little bit about myself. I will try to make it short
I am 38 and married 15 years now.
No human babies (yet!) but we have many fur babies!
Four yorkies: "Beau" 15 pound 9 year old female yorkie
"Ren" 7 pound 3 year female old yorkie
"Birdie" 4 pound 3 year female old yorkie
"Cody" 4 pound 16 year old male yorkie
And....
"Souffie" a 2 year old female ridgeback/lab mix
And....
Two horses, a 16 yr old Warmblood and a 9 year old Paso Fino. Both geldings.
Two Persian cats. One 18 yrs old and one 17. Both female
Three betta fish
and a lot of chickens
I am a Native Texan, my hubby is Canadian and we met in Tulsa Oklahoma. We have lived in many places including the Caribbean and South America but we now reside on a small farm in NW Florida. We moved here 3 years ago from Key West.
I am a Veterinary Technician for almost 20 years now. (Small animal and zoo medicine/exotics) I only do relief work now because I work as a laboratory manager and administrative assistant for my husbands engineering company.
My husband and I traveled a lot and I did a lot of volunteer work and teaching along the way. My interest and hobbies are SCUBA diving, sailing, surfing, riding horses, hiking, sea shell collecting, organic gardening and reading.
Nice to meet everyone here! I just love yorkies with all my heart and it's so exciting to find a place just for them.
