We inspected the incision everyday to make sure it was not inflamed or angry looking. Make sure you speak with your vet about any concerns you have. We asked LOTS of questions and our vet even showed us a slide show on her ipad of the actual procedure. I have to admit it made me a bit queasy but at least I knew exactly what would happen. I was very lucky and Sachi had a quick and easy recovery.
