I will def be doing the cleaning every time I put in a new tank of ink. I think that was my problem (4 x's  ), making the ink clog inside the machine. Ugh I know what you mean, all my past printers were pixma's, no more! |
LOL on the yorkie freak out - they do not like things not in their place do they?
I loved my 3 Canon Pixma the 6700 series - I had 3 and now 2 in my closet but no where to buy ink - just got the New Version and it's going back - nothing but trouble - and I have only printed a FEW Address Labels and wow - watched my 90$ ink drop before my eyes - I am so not happy with this printer....
you don't really have to clean every time you change ink - just after heavy printing or if the printer sits for a while not in use - then you really want to run one - I used to do my old Canon about every 2 months with heavy printing and never once had a problem
