Too much nutri-cal causes diarrhea...giving nutri-cal every hr is excessive. All it's doing is spiking his sugar level up & he is crashing, just like when kids eat too much candy. You need to be feeding this pup real food, even syringe feeding or add canned food, even baby food. He should be eating several small meals throughout the day. Protein needs to follow nutri-cal, otherwise it will cause hypoglycemia. If the pup is eating regularly, no need for nutri-cal, its almost pure corn syrup.
