Bigger is better as far as I'm concerned. More durable. And 4 months is a great age. Believe me, most do mellow out. Sounds like you're doing it the right way: Sitting back and enjoying the ride!
Thanks for the Eddie compliment! I'm not much of a groomer. We keep him in a short puppy cut most of the time to keep the snow from clinging to it. His hair right now is the longest it's been in a long time. I'm torn between cutting it as short as I like it and leaving it longer because of our cold weather.
