I sent an email to the vet nutritionist I use. She said that while sweet potatoes are high in oxylates, she does not think that put him over. She knows me well and knows I don't give a lot of treats. She said that while SO is a good food, he may need other options as she has seen pups develop stones while on it. She asked about Vit C and D supplements, because they can cause stones, but he has not been on them. So...having my vet refer him for a nutrition consult.
