Techs always do dentals. That is not the cost. I would honestly be a tad bit concerned about the anesthetic protocol your vet is using. Your estimate is way too low imho. I pray your vet is not using the same techniques he was in 1967.
You may think you are getting the same as the other vets in town, but I will bet if you look at it all dollar for dollar, you are simply not getting the same services and/or care people are at the other vet.
