Mimi is not in full length coat now, I keep her in a 'Joey' cut. Short on the body & long on the legs, although her hair is growing out in the winter. But I do still keep her bum area & the area right below her bum & above her back knee closely cut.
Their spa day is actually 2morrow, so I'll take a pic & post it.
I don't think I have any pics of her bum shot (loll) when she had long hair & these are not good examples:
but the back is trimmed. You don't need to cut too much. If your girl is lighter, you can actually see the urine stains. You can just cut the hairs that are stained bc those are the hairs that's touching the pee pad or ground when they pee. It's harder to see on darker hair...I also cut the fine hairs in the inner part of her legs & lower belly, along w/the arm pits. Since those are high rubbing areas & tend to tangle.
