I just read on AOL that Yorkies are the #1 dog stolen in the USA....I already knew that.....I guess it just makes it scarier when you see it in writing! When I bought my first Yorkie back in the '70's, that breeder warned me at least a dozen ties to NEVER let that baby out of my sight, never leave her unattended, even in my fenced in yard, and NEVER let anyone beg to hold her.....she would be stolen before I could get my feet in gear and give chase. I have honored that commitment to all of my babies since that warning so long ago, and I pass it along to all my new owners and anyone else that will listen. |
