Hi, I've been a member of YorkieTalk for many years but never posted before. However, my little 'B', who is turning 11 this year, just went in for a cheek abscess that never healed and subsequently had 9 teeth pulled today (!). From this community, I found out all about the likely tooth culprit re the cheek infection; and also found great information on creative ways to feed him. I haven't picked him up yet today so can't tell whether his appearance will be different but have also seen cute photos of yorkies with tongues out from lack of teeth posted on this site. He's getting more like a little old man as he sites by the fireplace in his sweater... and now with fewer teeth (!) yet I love him so much. Just wanted to thank you all for your contributions!
