This one is a challenge, something I wrestle with my boys on. They have developed a game in the car of barking at buses, motorcycles, delivery trucks, and pedestrians. Max has to outbark Teddy.
If Tallulah is with grandma and the dogs during the day, that is going to make it doubly hard for you to stop this habit . . . unless grandma gets on board with training.
What is the noise distraction from "It's Me or the Dog?"
I do have a party air horn in the car that I rarely use. When I tell Max I am going to use the horn, he stops barking. Teddy, who is normally an angel, will continue on a little, so I have to give him the quiet command.
