We hadn't gone in a number of years and we were going to go two years ago for New Years, but I had an accident before Christmas and our trip was cancelled. Our hopes were to go this spring for the festival, but I can't imagine that they are going to have it. 
It's such a vibrant city, that I am sure that they will be back and partying in no time!!! After all there was one bar that never did close....  |
I seen on the news yesterday that they are making repairs and that they will have the Jazz Fest. this year.
I love Mardi Gras although we did not attend the parade tonight. My step daughter has been sick for the past couple of days. I am a member of The Krewe Of Aphrodite, we ride on 2/24.(Night parde) I have been riding for about 9 years now and I get the biggest adrenalin rush when I see all the people yelling and waving.
