Is he being neutered at the same time? That is when retained baby teeth are usually pulled, that way they just have to be put to sleep the one time. I'm glad you had preop blood work done, and as long at the vet performing the procedure is well experienced with tiny babies such as yours, it should be fine. Everyone is understandably nervous when their dog is having anesthesia, since there is no guarantee that something won't go wrong, but that is why you weigh the benefit against the possible risks.
