Hi all!
I asked a couple questions but didn't formally introduce my new little stud Maverick! Well, stud as in handsome little fella, not as in breeding
He's now 13 weeks old. I got him early because him mama got sick and was unexpectedly spayed so he couldn't nurse.
He's done really well. Went from a crate to a playpen and transitioning back to a crate. He's weighing in at a healthy 3lb 4oz with dad at 6lb and mom 8lb. He was by far the biggest in his litter (his brother literally 1/2 or less of his size). I'd guess he'll be a good 7lbs maybe.
We've been doing ok with housebreaking, but not great. He knows exactly what to do outside, just can't always hold it. There's no doggy door, just mama and a leash
I just purchased how to house train a dog in 7 days and looks forward to picking up some tips. I had a german shepherd who trained much easier, but we're adjusting. Just need more time and discipline I suppose!
