Love

Thank you all so much for your kind words and prayers. She has been responding better to the pain medicine and is not having as many spasms. Her worse times seem to be first thing in the morning and early evening. I was hoping the medicine would stay in her system a little longer than the tramadol, but once it starts working you can definitly see she is more comfortable.
Ive been seeking advice from specialists from the UK who have been directly dealing/researching Beagles with SRM to see what they thought/recommend as far as her treaments and her recovering becsuse of her age and the are leaning more towards it being a disc issue not SRM and they recommended doing spinal tap, MRI, blood work, xrays to rule out one or the other. We could also take her off the steriods, treat her with a higher dose of the pain medicine and keep her crated until she heals if we can not afford the testing.
Im going to request an xray and more than likely get a second opioion this week (weather permitting, artic cold temps and feets of snow) before we make any desicions. Until then i will keep her warm, comfortabled and very loved.
Please keep her in your continued thoughts and prayers.
