Also... never use hot water to try and unthaw. Always us luke warm water. Hot water will only intensify the feeling of heat and its not a good feeling at all.

Current temp is -9 wind chill -38 and dropping. Lost power once already and I was about to freak out!!! I was out at 9pm last night and ran the snow thrower. I knew that if I waited it would be ALL ice.
Kids are off school and of course my husband had to go to work . . and I am like Really, wtf ? But its his job and he has to. Who cares about the weather alert and the -38 below artic weather and the hazardous road conditions anyways.... Jut pisses me off...
