Huey wants me to watch him eat, too. In the mornings, he will grab a bite while I am in the bedroom, but if I go to the den, he follows me & won't eat any more until I return to the room with the food. As for the water, though, I keep a glass of ice water next to my bed, and I have to share the ice with Huey every time I go to bed. I drink water, eat a piece of ice & he sits on my pillow and makes little squeeky noises until I give him ice, too. This usually goes on for 10 min before I can put the water down & go to sleep!
