Congratulations on your new addition. Would love to see pics of your precious little Dior. Like others have stated, not all pups with open fonts are sickly, although they are at greater risk for head injury.

Little Butterbean has an open font. He is three years old and is as healthy as the horse whose tail he swings from. The little Bean is all of 2.5 lbs. on a good day and has had almost every medical test known to man - so we know that the only health issue is his open font. This little bean size pooch is terrier through and through. Although we aren't proud of all of them, some of his exploits include killing chickens that weigh more than he does (the dumb chickens fly into his backyard) and his terrier blood runs thick. He has also cornered a possum, and is always on chipmunk patrol and keeps the other furkids he lives with under control with his "evil noise".

I share this info, not to steal your thread, but to offer you hope and encouragement.
