Years ago Bella Mia ate a handful of Hershey kisses she stole from a table we thought was out of her reach. She ate all of them while we were at work. When I came home she was panting profusely, she was vomiting, and had poop that smelled like chocolate....rushed her to the vet who basically said it was too late to do anything.... Luckily she made it but now she acts like a crack addict if she smells chocolate. She try's hard to get chocolate. Lessons learned....Yorkies can jump HIGHER than we think, and chocolate needs to be locked up out of Bella's reach.
