Yes, he thinks he knows what happened. He lives in an apartment on the back of the property or something (there is a house in front), and he thinks the neighbor either left the gate partially open or didn't see her slip out...he says the gate is usually locked with the padlock that hangs there, so it seems the neighbor goofed something up there. Hopefully, he let his neighbor know so it doesn't happen again.
