Also, there is member here named yorkietalkjilly who is really well versed on behavior patterns and issues in dogs. Hopefully she will see this thread. If she doesn't, you could send her a PM and I am sure she could offer some advice.
With that said, I think spaying might help but not too much. Mandie is bossy and thinks she owns the place so I am the last to offer advice on this. I just know Mandie is spayed and she is still like that. I know for sure that it is lack of me training her to behave correctly.
