I'm wondering this too..If she was healthy before, with no problems and this came on suddenly. I know the Swifter Wet Jet was in the news about causing renal failure in dogs and cats..then they said it doesn't..
I know I will not take the chance by using it.
There are dogs getting into Meds, Posions, Cleaning products and plants that can causes this.
You may never find the answer to WHY or WHAT caused this.
Some Vets need to take a refresher course on compassion..I'm sorry you had to deal with one that was such an Ass..I know it's hard to find a good Vet that has the skills and a good bedside manner.
I'm very sorry you lost your little girl and I hope your little guy is Ok.
