No, It is just my regular veterinarian. I wanted all my animals on the best food possible and I asked him. They gave me the link to the dog food advisor for approved dog foods. I then I started reading about nutrition and what was in the foods. I also took my Maltese Kassi to Virginia Tech Medical Regional College of Veternary Medicine because she had Maltese Encephalitis. I again wanted to make sure she was on the best food. Dr. Theresa Pancotto, Assistant Professor of Nerology said look for foods that say on the bag AAFCO approved. Mine was approved.
I sadly lost my beloved Kassi to Encephalitis on 11-6-13. You can see my tribute to her on my blog as well as the art that will be hug on the walls of Virginia Tech.
