Thank you all for the replies. We did take him to the emergency vet but they couldn't find anything wrong. The only thing the vet found was a little stiffness when she palpitated his neck. She suspected that he may have a compressed disc. She prescribed an anti-inflammatory, a pain killer and an antibiotic. He was feeling better within an hour. The vet on base will see him on Thursday.
