Renal failure is tricky. They simply are so sick that they have no appetite...no matter what you try to feed them. I have had a few go through this. Has your vet given her mirtazapine? It is an anti depressant...in dogs it cuts down the nausea and vomiting and also increases the appetite. It does not always work, but when it does it is amazing! One of my sweet boys who passed a few years ago was on it for the last few months of his life...I could not believe how he went from not eating to eating anything that was put in front of him...all because of this medicine. If you have not tried it yet, ask your vet about it.

I am SO sorry you are going through this. So heartbreaking. Will say prayers for your precious Ruby.
