I just have to shake my head when I hear some of the things that a vet will say. I would love to see that vet eating some hard food without any teeth!
If you really want him on dry food then it would be best to soften it for him.
Can you imagine the torture a dog would go through as the hard dry food was "hardeniing up his gums" ??!!
