I taught my Bailey to bring me his ball and I kick it for him while I am on the phone. If it's out of my reach, I tell him 'closer' and he makes sure it is w/in reach. So, every time the phone rings and if he's sleeping/chilling, he gets up in play mode, comes and brings the ball. Funny, I wouldn't let my children get away with interrupting me while doing the same
