I am trying with the leash and treat, and I think that is how I am going to finally become the mistress here. I will not give up, as it does worry me. I live in a very rural area with lots of trees, and Jack would melt into them very quickly. There is also the danger of being picked up by a hawk as has been reported around here. It doesn't matter to the hawk, rabbit, squirrel, yorkie??
That story about Spike was great, I will have to remember that when company comes. The toy in question is a stuffed dog, and Jack holds it down by grasping between the ears just as if it was real. i guess if I decide to breed him I won't have a problem.
