There is a pretty strong scent at first but it wears off quickly. She sleeps on our bed right by our heads so when we went to bed the scent was much milder. There is no scent whatsoever now, 24 hours later.

It is a dry mousse that foams up just like the mousse that you put on your hair. If you try it I hope you like it as much as I do. You put it on, wait 5 minutes and then wipe it off with dry towel. She was dry immediately and the stink smell was gone.
