My 2yo Bailey, weighing 7/5 lbs, also shakes from time to time, which entails his whole body. I just cuddle him with a blanket and/or put him in my housecoat to warm him quicker and he returns to normal. I don't seem to find any common reasons when he does this, but have thought that since he is lower to the ground, coupled with the fact he isn't very hairy and with a straight coat, he feels the slightest draft. When I sit on the carpet with him to play, I find it chilly sometimes. Most of the times I have the heat on quite high, but do have the patio door ajar slightly. Do you have a heating blanket that you could put under another blanket (as to not burn him) to warm him and to eliminate him being chilly? Hope this helps you. Cheers! |
