You want to stay away from breeders who use the word micro or teacup, you want to make sure the puppies are going to be with there mom until 12 weeks old, you also want to make sure the breeder does health and genetic testing, you want to make sure the breeder is not breeding any females under 5 pounds, that the breeder is not breeding mixes, they are AKC registered, you want to see where the dogs and puppies are living, and you want a breeder who will answer ANY and ALL questions you have.
