I suggest you give it at least another month of the food he is presently on. My vet told me it takes 3 full months for the other food to completely get out of their system and the new food to begin working. When I switched my 3 to a new food because of the itching and skin issues, it took 4 months to see complete results! They are now pretty much itch-free and only scratch occasionally, like we would if we has an itch in general. It wouldn't hurt if you gave it at least another month, especially if you are beginning to see some good improvement.
