I have fed my 4 Wellness Small Breed Healthy Weight for the past year or 2 even though only one of them needs to lose weight (and hasn't). The small kibble is right for my 2 smallest pups with small mouths and teeth, and right for my liver-compromised Yorkie that needs a low-ish protein/fat food.
Are you using if for weight control? I was surprised to know that it is only 10% lower in calories than their regular formula.
Previous to this is fed Natural Balance, and thought it was good. However after switching to Wellness, I saw an increase in their perkiness, playfulness and vitality, that I think means they are thriving. |
