Try being happy and excited when you serve his food and then go about your business. Also try using the kibble as reward treats. I have a kibble can with a button top thingy. The boys go crazy when they hear me push the button.
I had to play games with Max his first year and hand feed him. He would do tricks for almost every piece of kibble. Something like this may help Galen see the food as good.
Hope you can figure out what works for him. |
True he is a little one so it makes me nervous. I have Nutrcal just in case.
I tried using it as a reward he looks at me like I am crazy lol he is like were is the Cheerio or cookie. I tried putting it in his peanut shaped treat toy. . Nothing. I put a little bit of peanut butter another time coconut oil in the bowl, which both used to work, wouldn't work. Tried also the wet food, nothing . . . The only thing that is somewhat working at the moment is parmesan cheese. I remembered someone saying they top the food off with it. I have to break the food up so he doesn't like the Parmesan off lol.
